A guitar I made from pieces of wood and wires in Purdue's "Advanced Manufacturing With Guitars" class.

and modifying it to a mostly black and white and then painting onto the guitar. Unfortunately the photo is not the best quality when super zoomed in but there is a graying highlight through some of the hair and then I made the tips of the hair more surreal by blocking in some of the hair and pulling the gray splash highlight into it.

wow, that is cool. what type of paint did you use and did you use a seal afterwards?

I mixed some lacquer with some ink. it was a bit tricky getting the right consistency. And then I just sealed it with another layer or two of lacquer.
